Mike Bruszer, DPT
Mike received bachelors in Psychology at the University of Illinois at Chicago and then went on to receive his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2014 from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
He enjoys working with orthopedic and sports populations across all age ranges, and prefers a whole body, hands-on manual approach using innovative techniques. He has certifications in Graston and Dry Needling. He believes that manual therapy and exercise play a vital role in the rehab process, while making sure to incorporate patient collaborated care plans.

As a previous collegiate baseball player, he has a strong interest in return to sport rehab with overall injury prevention. Experiences on and off the field taught him the importance of self-discipline and perseverance in achieving goals and rehabilitation. He stresses patient education from day one so that his patients may gain a deeper understanding of how their body works and ultimately develop the self-management techniques necessary for avoiding re-injury.

In his free time, he enjoys working out, hanging out with his wife, and playing with his two children as he believes that staying active is the best insurance policy for a long and meaningful life.
